9th Annual Eston River Trek May 14th, 2011

Welcome to not only Saskatchewan's toughest walking challenge, but Canada's. Eston will, for an eighth successful year, be hosting the greatest Trek of your life.

This is the longest one day Trek in Canada and perhaps most of the world. The distance to be covered is 64 km (40 miles). The trek heads south of Eston on Highway #30, then south to the River (Lancer Ferry) then east along the South Saskatchewan River to Eston Riverside Park then east and north back to Eston.

You will see our awesome sunrise, the "Land of the Living Skies", our prairie landscape. Come and meet the friendliest people in Canada. You will be treated to a vibrant community spirit with great hospitality while you embark on a challenging and memorable Trek.

The Eston River Trek Committee is proud that this event supports recreation in the community. Proceeds from this event are used to operate sports and recreation programs and facilities for all ages in Eston.

Participants in the trek can fundraise for the charity of their choice. Upon registration, an information package will be sent out that contains pledge sheets and trekkers can walk or run, not only for the challenge, but also for a good cause!!
