About Eston:
Eston is located in southwestern Saskatchewan, just North of the South Saskatchewan River. It is an agriculturally based community. The population is approximately 1050 people.As in most rural communities, the town revolves around the Recreation Complex. Running any large facility is taxing on a community. The Eston River Trek fundraiser will help to cover some of the operational costs of running the complex. Eston is a community committed to surviving, and this is just one more thing the energetic community is doing to survive.
The Complex offers a skating arena, 4 sheets of curling ice, 4 bowling lanes, meeting and event rooms, an indoor walking area, a fitness centre, and a large well-equipped kitchen.
